DJ Galactic is an Independant Producer of Electronic Music (Electro Funk & Electro Jazz): this website will provide all DJ Galactic's mp3, news with the blog and video via youtube. DJ Galactic's productions are influenced by techno music, Jazz, french touch, house, and electro funk. DJ Galactic is a DJ, that is able to mix his own music live: by using computers, music instruments and other sofisticated tools like a RolandMC-909 combined with a Microkorg, he is bringing the music creation and live preformance to the next level.
After years of experimenting with a variety of forms, DJ Galactic has settled down to make an
album of pure Electro-Funk music. Galactic Funk is all energy, soul, beats and groove. The mood
is one that evokes the funk heyday of Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye and James Brown, yet
DJ Galactic opens a box of studio tricks to give his songs an added dimension.

as a solo artist using electric guitar, electric
bass, keyboards, synthesizers, and manipulated vocals. It’s an imitation.

DJ Galactic ’s keyboards rap a funky beat while his guitar and bass provide
authenticity. His voice, however, has been processed so that his lyrics to
each song come across as if they were coming from a computer. Born
in France and living in Israel, 30-year-old DJ Galactic brings spaced-out
Funk into focus. The Pop backbeat and Funk trappings of his session
leave no doubt about where he wants to go with his message. Combine
his warped vocals with the rhythmic drive of his techno-dance music
and you get casual entertainment that aims to please. DJ Galactic ’s guitar
shows up periodically on the session with a few nods to the Jazz masters;
however, he prefers to cover up most of his work this time out with the
techno-grind of a robotic trance that dwells in a fantasy world of Science
Fiction.''
